I will be making several trips to wonderful Germany this fall! Prof. Welf Werner has invited me as a guest speaker/lecturer to the Global Economics and Management seminar at Jacobs University Bremen where I will be talking about the Eurocrisis and the people“s perspective. Hopefully I can raise some interest for more political sides to the financial problems of the Eurozone.
In October I will also be visiting the Social Science Research Centre Berlin (WZB) to take part in the 16th Berlin Roundtables on Transnationality. This time they focus on revolutions, and I will be presenting a paper on how we can use Laclaudian theory to understand highly affective movements. It’ll be great to visit the centre and, of course, Berlin itself!
